Established in 2019 by Anglo American, the CSIR, Exxaro, Zutari and World Vision South Africa, the Impact Catalyst is dedicated to propelling large-scale socio-economic development initiatives through the facilitation of public-private partnerships.
The organisation prides itself in collaborating with government, the private sector, and civil society to pinpoint relevant projects within its operational areas, fostering a collective effort to establish initiatives that revitalise the local economy and restore hope in underserved communities.

The new ICT lab equipment, including laptops, has significantly enhanced my teaching methods and enriched the learning experience for our students. With each learner now having access to a laptop, they can explore online math and science course materials, access revision resources, and fully participate in online tutoring sessions
I really liked the fun activities we did, like the 'Crossing the Line' game and drawing pictures of what to do and what not to do in traffic. These activities made learning about road safety easy and fun. Now, I feel ready to make smart choices and stay safe on the roads.
Now that I am equipped with the tools to engage and empower young minds,I strive to transform road safety education into a journey of joy and discoveryfor the youth of Limpopo. By infusing fun into the learning process, we shapenot only their understanding but also their attitudes and behaviours towardroad safety. For children, this education is not merely about rules, but aboutfostering a culture of responsibility and care.
I was part of the waste project in Kathu, Northern Cape. We truly appreciated the presence of Impact Catalyst in our community of Mapoteng. They guided and taught us how to earn a living by collecting and recycling waste materials, helping us steer clear of a life of crime. We hope that Impact Catalyst will continue to support and train small business owners in the Kathu area, as unemployment remains high
